PLB3 – Uansett hvor du befinner deg, på land eller til sjøs, tilbyr RescueME PLB3 sikkerheten om at du er koblet til ett globalt redningsnettverk som kan bli kontaktet ved ett trykk på en knapp. Båter i nærheten vil få AIS varsing umiddelbart.
PLB3 kan monteres i redningsvesten for automatisk utløsing.
PLB3 virker med det eneste offisielt anerkjente søk og redningsnettverket som er operert av Cospas Sarsat. Når aktivert vil PLB3 sende din posisjon og din personlige ID til ett "Rescue Coordination Center" via satellitt. Redningstjenesten nærmest deg blir varslet omgående om din nødsituasjon og dine koordinater for å assistere i redningen. Fordi PLB3 har et "Return Link Service" får du en tilbakemelding når nødsignalet er mottat av en redningsentral. I tillegg vil PLB3 sende MOB-varsel til båter i nærheten som er utstyrt med AIS/kartplotter. Dette effektiviserer letearbeidet i siste fase. PLB3 har ikke DSC funksjon slik som MOB1, den kan derfor ikke programmeres med båtens MMSI nr.
